  • Costal area - hot, daytime temperatures usually range from 25c to 35c with rains from April to June

Seasons & visiting times

  • High: 1st July to 31st October

  • Mid: 1st November to 31st March

  • Low: 1st April to 30th June

  • Kenya is a good year-round destination apart from mid April to the end of May when the rains are heaviest - some accommodation closes down during this period

  • The Wildebeest migration passes through the Masai Mara between late June and early November


Visa & Passport requirements

An eTA (electronic travel authorisation) maybe required, you can check if you need one and apply here.

eTA’s are valid for 90 days once issued and take 3 to 5 days to process. You can apply once your trip is booked and confirmed and is within the 90 days.

You should have a valid passport with at least six months remaining at the time of travel and at least one blank page.
