-
Depart Nairobi by road for Tsavo West (5 hours), a vast park covering over 7,000 sq. km, comprising woodland, savannahs, and riverine habitats. It is home to many diverse species, including thousands of elephants, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, crocodiles, and over 600 bird species.
Upon entering the park, you will head to the stunning Serena Kilaguni Lodge, arriving in time for lunch. Situated between Mount Kilimanjaro and the volcanic Chyulu Hills, this stone-built safari lodge offers excellent views of the surrounding hills. It overlooks its own water hole, which elephants, buffalo, and a wide variety of plains animals frequently visit. The lodge was one of the first built inside a Kenyan national park and features a restaurant, lounge, and bar all overlooking the water hole. Additionally, there is a swimming pool, sun deck, gift shop, and a range of room types, all either overlooking the water hole or with views of the Chyulu Hills.
After lunch, you will go on a late afternoon game drive, including a visit to Mzima Springs, where you might see hippos, Nile crocodiles, and many bird species. You will then return to Kilaguni for dinner and spend your evening relaxing while observing the wildlife arriving at the watering hole. The following day will be spent on game drives exploring this vast park, with all meals provided at the lodge.
-
After breakfast, your guide will drive you to Amboseli National Park (2 hours), a remarkable park with breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and one of Africa's prime locations for close encounters with elephants.
Amboseli features various habitats, including savannahs, woodlands, swamps, and wetlands, supporting over 600 bird species, big cats, and numerous other mammals, including all the Big Five.
You’ll arrive in time for lunch at Kibo Tented Camp, situated just outside the park. Each spacious en-suite tent features a comfortable bed, stone flooring, canvas walls, and tasteful décor. The camp includes a large dining area for buffet-style meals, a bar, a swimming pool to cool off, and a small art gallery and souvenir shop.
Late afternoon, you will venture into Amboseli for a game drive to explore the park, then return to camp for dinner. The following day will feature morning and afternoon game drives, with all meals served at camp.

Depart Amboseli for Nairobi, stopping for lunch along the way.
