Aberdare National Park

Aberdare National Park offers a unique safari experience unlike Kenya’s lowland plains. Set in the central highlands, it features dense forests, cascading waterfalls, and misty moorlands. The park is home to elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, hyenas, and rare species such as black rhinos, black leopards, and the elusive bongo antelope. Rich in both wildlife and history, Aberdare also served as a refuge for Mau Mau fighters during Kenya’s struggle for independence.

Samburu National Reserve is a captivating wilderness in northern Kenya, known for its stunning riverbank landscapes and exceptional wildlife. Here, you can spot big cats, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and zebras, along with unique northern species such as the gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, and reticulated giraffe. With nearly 400 bird species, Samburu is a paradise for bird lovers and a perfect destination for those seeking a truly wild and authentic safari experience.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Ol Pejeta Conservancy offers one of Kenya’s most remarkable safari experiences. It is among the best places to spot the Big Five, boasting the country’s largest population of black rhinos. The conservancy is also home to the world’s last two northern white rhinos and the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which provides refuge for rescued chimps. Set across open savannahs, rivers, and acacia woodlands, Ol Pejeta is alive with wildlife from cheetahs and hyenas to giraffes and zebras, making it a true haven for conservation and adventure.
